What’s the Moen Transfer Station?

Waste transfer stations are facilities where municipal solid waste is temporarily held and sorted before heading to a landfill. This state-of-the-art facility was specifically designed to reduce odors, rodent activity, wind-born litter, and garbage truck traffic. Moen Transfer is IEPA permitted to move 600 tons of solid waste per day and has the potential to move three times that amount. Station also holds a separate bay for a single stream recycling.

Service Area

We are conveniently located along I-80 between Exit 130 A Larkin Ave and Exit 127 Hollywood Rd in Rockdale.

Moen Transfer is IEPA permitted to accept municipal solid waste, yard waste, and recyclables for all municipalities in Will, Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, Grundy, Dekalb, Kankakee and Livingston counties.

We are open to the public and require an account in good standing to dump.
